I guess this is good news
I loved Tim Russert. I thought he was an amazing journalist, person, and he bears an uncanny resemblance to my father. He was always doing or saying something interesting with the most fascinating people. He passed away June 14th. So sad. I was sad because 1) he was 58 and has a family and 2) he loved covering politics. And, as we all know, this election was a momentous part of history. NBC did a cool thing and let his son, Luke, be a special correspondent. Hopefully, he'll want to fill his fathers shoes. The news world needs a Russert in it, I'm convinced. Replacing Tim on Meet the Press is David Gregory, who has also been a correspondent for NBC for some time. I like him a lot too...you've probably seen him on the Today Show. So, I guess he'll suffice. I'll start watching Meet The Press again, nothing against Tom Brokaw, but, sometimes I feel like he is lecturing me.
