I wish turkey only cost a nickel...

Happy Monday. Blah! Back to work I guess. Our first solo Thanksgiving was a success!! Nothing burnt down to the ground, no one left hungry, and many games were played. A lot of the action happened before the guests arrived. No one told Lee and I that the insides of the turkey tumble out in a bloody bag! For me, not privy to being a regular meat-eater, it was quite traumatizing at 8 in the morning. Lee was sure that the turkey's penis fell out too...(it was the neck) Also, Lee and I usually think we are both right about everything. I'm just saying. This made for very interesting conversation during the "dressing" of our turkey. I think it ended with "Happy first Thanksgiving being married!!" We both got over that debacle about ten minutes later, but, it was touch and go at first. ha. It's a lot of fun bringing people together, no one really knows each other that well...and everyone has a good ole time. Gobble Gobble.
