Bailouts. Lack of innovation. Private Jets and whiny babies in the form of "distinguished" looking gentlemen. Do you think we should bail out the "Big Three?" Is it our fault that they lacked innovation to keep the consumer wanting, no needing to buy their product? A Honda plant in glorious Indiana has brought jobs and growth to the states economic bottom line. Why is Detroit floundering? On the other side, do we let all the hard working auto workers in Detroit lose their jobs? That's not right either. The company needs major restructuring, obviously. A lot of companies claim bankruptcy, (i.e. Delta Airlines, Circuit City) and it was what they needed to re-invigorate, restructure pay, staff, etc. Part of me thinks if we give them money, they will be less likely to change, more likely to just ask for money again.
