I'm appointing myself to the title of World Money Police. Basically, my title entails that I go around and tell people that it's not appropriate to spend their money in stupid ways. Heellllooo!!! Where are the big banks PR PEOPLE?!! Wells Fargo was given 25 billion dollars from the government (i.e. me and you) and they are going on a retreat to Las Vegas and staying at the WYNN! At the WYNN!??? That's pretty nice. For 12 days. Here's the kicker, the awesome spokeswomen issued this statement to the media "we have a longstanding tradition of recognizing our employees." Okay lady. I understand and fully appreciate and respect people wanting to recognize others for their hard work and accomplishments. ( A Target gift card is nice too.) But, maybe, since thousands of jobs are being lost every day, (and you got some "free money") we shouldn't go to Vegas and woop it up at the Wynn. Just a thought. It'd be privvy to everyone to use a little discretion. Just like the wackadoos (The Big 3 wackadoos) that flew their jets to ask Washington for money. If you want money, fine...but don't fly your jet to the meeting. Might just send the wrong signal. I'm just saying.
