In case you hadn't heard, Lifetime is the new home of Project Runway. I think it belongs on BRAVO, but, people are stupid sometimes...or not rich enough. Lifetime must have deep girly pockets. Here's what went down:
Project Runway will officially strut its stuff on Lifetime this summer. The year-long legal battle that kept the fashion competition reality series in limbo since last September finally ended yesterday when NBC Universal, The Weinstein Co. and Lifetime together announced the legal dispute was resolved. The settlement agreement has Project Runway producers Weinstein Co. paying NBCU an undisclosed amount to release its interests in the series. All three entities involved declare they are pleased with the lawsuit's outcome.
