Back Back

Just back from southern Utah for a short visit. Again. We went rafting, Lee found his ring!, and I'm more in love with dogs that aren't mine, unfort. (Two weeks ago, rowdy camping ensued and Lee lost his wedding ring) I really can't believe we found it (not even buried in sand, just waiting for us it seemed)...now Lee wants to be a "prospector." Which, is apparently, when a grown man looks for "treasures" all day with a metal detector. Great.

I sense the sarcasm, which is bizarre seeing as you witnessed me not only pull my ring out of the dirt, but also a penny, salt shaker lid, several tent stakes and the flip flop that either Lewis or Clark left. Guess I'll be making that trip to Antiques Roadshow solo.

We have neighbors who dedicate entire weekends to metal detecting in their front yard. Maybe Lee could join them sometime to see if it's something he really wants to get into.

I'm thinking of burying treasures on a Friday night so they have special surprises waiting for them on Saturday morning.
