Meredith Is Leaving
Media news update: Meredith Viera is leaving The Today Show in June and will be replaced by Ann Curry. Natalie Morales will be moved into Ann's former postition permanently. I like Natalie a lot...and Ann is fine I suppose. I was trying to catch all the major networks during the wedding this morning and I thought The Today Show's coverage was the best. Katie Couric was awful...did anyone else watch her? It was as if she was heckling the royals? It was weird. Anyway, good for Meredith. Her husband suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and she has often talked openly about her desire to spend more time with him and her children.

Demi Moore, talk show producer? Demi Moore signed an agreement with Lifetime Television involving multiple projects including the new one-hour interview series, The Conversation. Hosted by British television personality and well-known photographer, Amanda de Cadenet, The Conversation offers a fresh and intimate perspective on celebrity interviews with famous women and is based on de Cadenet's web series. Eight episodes of The Conversation will be produced by decadenet, Inc. with Moore and de Cadenet serving as executive producers along with Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and David Hillman of Lifetime Television.

The Show Is HERE!
New reality series Ice Loves Coco debuts on E! June 12 at 1030p. The eight-episode half-hour series goes inside the ten-year marriage of rapper/actor/author Ice-T and his fitness/swimsuit model wife Coco as they balance their careers and marriage. Coco is allowed on TV?!!! How can that be? Does the FCC know about this?! There is sure to be a nip slip or 7. Just sayn. I mean, it took me a good 5 minutes to find a decent photo of the racy pair.

• Reality series America's Next Top Model ordered for both cycles next season opening in the fall with its first-ever All-Star Edition. Oh, I love a good ALL-STAR EDITION!
• The Vampire Diaries, The CW's most-watched series with 4.0 million total viewers and tops with W18-34 at 2.9/9, reupped for a sophomore season. Really? Huh. Who knew?!
• Gossip Girl and 90210 were also renewed and will return along with the seventh season of Supernatural. I'm going to start watching GG soon. So, you'll have to bear with me as I experience season 6 from the beginning. I can't wait. It's like every holiday wrapped into one for me. I totally watch 90210 too ya'll. Love those skinny little tramps.

Then, Lindsay comes on and talks about how sorry she is and how she can't BELIEVE she got jail time and community service...and Jay Leno kisses her a*s the whole time. Give me a break! She's like this because people treat her like she can do no wrong. (Well, and the fact that Dina and Michael are her parents) And, exactly, what IS SHE DOING? Besides making JLO demands and getting kicked off movie projects? I don't know either. What I do know is that apparently the audience gave her a standing ovation when she left Jay last night. Excuse me?! For what?! Where is my mother?! That's what Lindsay needs...my mother for a month. She'll be reformed after that. Please. I'm over it. Water For Elephants
Lee and I went to see Water For Elephants last night. It was fine. Here's the thing, the screenwriter did brilliantly preserve the books magic by not straying to far from Sara Gruen's storyline and imagery. I enjoyed the characters coming to life, the charm and intrigue of the circus back in the day, and the costume designer's choices. Christopher Waltz was amazing as August, the ringleader of the Benzini Brothers Circus. (He plays a hybrid of August and Uncle Al) On the other end of the Big Top, Reese Witherspoon as Marlana, left me wanting more, lots more. (Although she looked fierce) I couldn't figure out if it was because she was acting next to Christopher Waltz or if there was SO LITTLE chemistry between her and Robert Pattinson it just fell flat. Even the 'love' scene seemed un-sexy. And, for a girl who hasn't watched Twilight I get the RP appeal now. Whew. The elephant Rosie was majestic and stole the show, literally. The filmmakers assured audiences that all the animal abuse during the film was actually done on a CG screen and absolutely no animals were harmed. That is hard to watch but pertinent to the story. Would I recommend Water For Elephants? Yes. Ultimately, it's a solid love story...just wish it'd been a little bit more sexy. The only thing sexy was the 170 oz. tub of popcorn we ate...oh yeah.

First, I love the name Pippa. If I thought I could talk Lee into naming our unborn daughter Pippa, I would. But, he doesn't like any of my names, so, I digress. For the record, I am not prego, so, just saying in the event I'd be blessed with a daughter someday, I'd like the name Pippa...sorry, tangent. Oh, and she is Kate Middleton's sister. Anywho, Pippa (how many time can I say Pippa?!) hit the town in London last night to celebrate the engagement of her friends Holly Branson and Fred Andrews at the Kensington Roof Gardens. Holly's papa is Richard Branson, billionaire adventure crazy man who owns VIRGIN airlines, records, among many other things. Mazel.

Then I realized I have all these friends on here and should just ask...so, have you moved long distance? Do you reccommend a mover? By the way, Tom's mobile home is on a pricey lot in Malibu...on the ocean. Just sayin. Anyway, the message got lost a little on me (and girlfriend Lindsay who sent this pic) because of Miss O's hair?!! What was up with that?! It was Rosie O with a ponytail circa 2005.
