Airplane Fun Plane

I've been uncomfortable in an airplane before. The most recent, distrubing time was an overweight women who "hadn't showered in days" (her words) and had a lap baby (18mnths at least) threw her soggy chew toys on me and the whole experience left me traumatized. Southwest, while glorious for not charging us for checked bags, kicked Kevin Smith off a flight for being "too fat." Embarrasing. (Kevin Smith is responsible for many movie masterpeices such as Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Silent Bob) He could properly sit in the seat with the arm rests down, (not sure on spillage for those of you thinking that) however the pilot kicked him off anyway. I've seen a few folks who couldn't put their arm rests down. No matter who it is, it's humiliating I'm sure. Southwest is now kissing ass to save the embarrassment of kicking a 'celebrity' off a plane. They also offered him $100 voucher. Wow. The real problem is that when buying a plane ticket there should be some restrictions; you have to enter your height and weight. It's a benefit for you as much as anyone else. That way, before an embarrassing situation occurs you can rectify it by being forced to buy two seats. Or, you could always check yourself as luggage, Southwest doesn't even charge...
