Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, the original, is one of my favorite films of all time. I haven't even seen the Johnny Depp version because my memories of this film are too sweet, even for Johnny Depp. One of my favorite characters, Veruca Salt, (I still scream "I WAAANTTT IT NOW!" to my husband, or anyone that will indulge my Veruca impression, on occasion, sounds pleasant, I know) is still acting in a number of British television shows. Most recently, Julie Dawn Cole is on the British soap "Emmerdale."

funny, i say the same thing to ryan ("i want it now!") unfortunately for him, i also go into the song. "i want the world, i want the whole world......"
