I did read this bit of info on Fox News Channel's web page, so, who knows if it's true. Just kidding. Kinda. Former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Danielle Staub told the gossip site HollywoodLife.com about the new show she's been hinting at for weeks. Say it ain't so. The sex-tape making mother-of-two said her new show will be called "Social" and air on the WealthTV network.
“I’m replacing Robin Leach basically, of 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,' but with a twist,” she said. “There will be more socializing with the rich and famous celebrities and we’ll show how they give back as well."
WealthTV is an HD-only network aimed at "high-net-worth viewers" with shows titled “Tales of Kings and Castles” and “Wealth in the Air." Uh, okay. Sounds amazing. I don't want to watch other people being rich, it's not really my thing, but whatevs.
“Each week I’ll have a different celebrity or billionaire,” she said. “I’ll be filming anywhere from New Jersey all the way to India.” Do you believe her? How can she travel so much with all the people she sues? Well, I can honestly say I'd never watch Danielle host her own show. If I'm kidnapped and subsequently tortured it would be by being forced to watch "Social." I think she made it up anyway.
