Did you watch the RNC kickoff last night?
I didn't either. However, I did watch all of Ann Romney's speech.
Why? Well, because I wanted to hear her speak really.
And, first, I have to say at 63 years old she looks fantastic. Wow.
And while her speech was clearly geared toward attracting women,
it was nice to hear the background of how her and Mitt met.
She was Episcopalian?
He a Mormon? Interesting.
The part in her speech where she said that her hubby does things because
he is able and wants to, I believe. I do know someone who was in an accident who knew
the Romney's and he paid for his medical bills and a brand new Audi.
But you didn't hear that from me.
When I first started out in journalism I wanted to be a political reporter.
And I love a good campaign race.
Although as I get older and 'understand' more
about the illusion of politics I find it quite depressing.
I'm not a Republican.
I'm not a Democrat.
I want to start my own party.
Where the gays can marry.
Who will it be in 2013?
I'll be watching.
Oh, and I give Ann Romney a B. Pretty good for the
huge assignment she had. And I liked all her pointing.
Not really. But, she was into it right?
