But I will. Have you guys read President Obama's speech to the school kiddos? I can't get over his NERVE...here are some highlights with my commentary following, of course:
"I’ve talked about your parents’ responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox. " The Pres
Uh, is he serious?! Less time with the XBOX! Parents! Don't let your kids go to school today! They will be brainwashed from playing video games! Oh, he's not done yet...
"Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That’s the opportunity an education can provide. " The Pres
What?! I'm GOOD at? Are you trying to insult me Mr President? Well, my mom says I'm GREAT at acting (and I'm soooo pretty) and I'm going to go on that VH1 show where parents take their kids to prove how amazing they are...school is for people who aren't good at sports, that's what my dad says...anyway...
He babbles on about setting goals, realizing your dreams and that you can achieve whatever you put your mind to. (I know, psycho-babble) And, just because you aren't born with a silver spoon doesn't mean you can't put one in your mouth. (Well, he says it a lot better than me) Anyway, to the parents I saw crying on CNN this weekend because Obama was trying to corrupt your children with crazy mind voodoo, shame on you. Shame on you for presenting the attitude to your children that all the things I'm sure you stand for, (the success of your child) that he or she is missing what could be an inspiring, motivating speech. He ends with this:
"Your families, your teachers, and I are doing everything we can to make sure you have the education you need to answer these questions. I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn. But you’ve got to do your part too. So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So don’t let us down – don’t let your family or your country or yourself down. Make us all proud. I know you can do it."
That President, he's got some nerve.

Looks like you had no problem commenting!
Listening to his speech reminded me of when I was a kiddo watching WWF. After his patented leg drop on the Iron Sheik, Hulk Hogan told me that if I said my prayers and ate my vitamins I could be just like him. And by that I mean ridiculously successful.
