Elle Decor is celebrating its 20th year! WOW! Congrats to Margaret Russell. She's the editor n chief, totally chic, and reminds me of my mother. Here's why...when I was little and I remember my mom picking me up from someplace, she always looked, so, tailored. I don't know if she really was, or if I was just little and thought my mother was super neato, but I can honestly say I remember about 50 of her outfits. She wore perfect red jackets with big gold buttons, she had a quilted clutches, kitten-healed shoes with buckles, and always matching jewelry. I thought she always looked so POLISHED. I said to my mom not to long ago that I thought she was stylish, and that I always thought she looked fierce. And then I asked her why she never wore sweatshirts or leggings...(I swear my mother owns one sweatshirt...that says Les Miz on it...that she got from me when I was 10) and she looked at me totally seriously and said "LEGGINGS?! Have you seen my little short legs?!! I don't wear them because I look awful in them!" Oh. My mother, she just has this innate refined taste, it's amazing really...Anyway, sorry for the tangent. My point is that Ms Margaret, although they look nothing alike, completely reminds me of my mother for some reason...so, congrats to you Ms M...you are divine as well!
