First Meredith...now Matt. I hope he's just going somewhere else, he's to good of an interviewer to 'retire' from the broadcast world. But, Matt Lauer says he is planning on leaving Today next year when his current contract expires on December 31, 2012. Huh. Wonder why him and Meredith are telling the media NOW? Seems like a big ole notice.
